Two New Hires and Two Promotions at EGC
With new clients and additional business come new opportunities. EGC warmly welcomes two additions to the staff, and congratulates two others on their recent promotions.
Welcome new EGC team members:
Michael DiMarco – SEO Manager
Michael previously worked at Havas, one of the world’s largest global communications groups. His experience with search engine optimization is the combination of five years at Advice Media (which has been featured on the “Inc. 500/5000” list multiple times for two years), as well as three years of handling private work that included small journalism websites and blogs that were primarily focused on digital media. Michael has worked across a variety of businesses that include pharmaceutical, film and media, breweries, and summer camps—which enables him to adapt to a variety of client needs in a wide range of industries. Additionally, he has held a variety of client-facing positions ranging from hospitality to account management, thus giving him a well-rounded background in providing a superior client-focused/driven experience.
Courtney Hanusch – Marketing Analyst
After leading social media for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Courtney, Courtney went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration at Hofstra University. She is no stranger to EGC, as she first joined the team as an MBA intern on the digital media team one year ago. Courtney’s curiosity about human behavior and an ability to understand the consumer, combined with her knack for bringing data to life, makes her a perfect fit as EGC’s Marketing Analyst. She comes to EGC Group with a positive attitude and solution-oriented mindset, approaching every new challenge as a learning opportunity.
Congratulations to the following EGC employees:
Danielle Mount – Graphic Designer
Danielle Mount (“Dani” to her friends here at EGC) was hired as a Production Artist in 2019, having graduated from Farmingdale State College. At EGC, Dani quickly became proficient in learning and mastering a variety of software products and tools for print, digital, and video. Her talents and passion for design extend beyond the office, however, because she makes it a point to paint at least once a week to keep her creative spark sharp and intact. Dani’s efforts—at work and at home—have paid off with a promotion to Graphic Designer. Great going, Dani, and keep up the great work!
Tina Zhen – Account Supervisor
Tina arrived at EGC in 2014 as an Account Manager for Brother International Corporation. During that time, she has become what some at the Agency call “the resident crafter,” as she diligently studies and familiarizes herself in Brother’s Craft Division, learning thoroughly how the new products operate and trends of the trade. Tina’s time at EGC gave her the opportunity to handle many different facets of marketing in the transition away from traditional media. She truly believes in building relationships and positioning herself in the clients’ eyes / mind set and understanding their passions in order to meet their needs. In addition to Brother International Corporation, Tina also handles Apple Montessori Schools, a New Jersey-based early childhood education program.
