Meet Lara Bass, Vice President, Client Services at EGC
As EGC’s Vice President of Client Services, Lara Bass has many tasks to manage as the liaison between the Agency and its roster of clients. In this Q&A session, Lara discusses how she feels her career has grown, great career advice she has received, and what she considers to be the most rewarding aspect of her job.
You have been with the agency for six-and-a-half years. How has your career grown since starting at EGC?
My career has grown tremendously since joining EGC, as I am exposed to all facets of the business, which I love. Externally, I have been able to work with a wide range of clients across many different industries, which has been great. And internally, I have learned a ton about operations and what’s required to run a top-notch agency.
What is the best piece of career advice someone has given you?
The best career advice I’ve received is not to overthink things and have a positive can-do attitude. Often in our roles, we function as problem solvers: Solving all kinds of challenges with regard to business, marketing, people, etc. Approaching those challenges with a can-do attitude allows me to embrace them with positivity.
What is your favorite and most rewarding part about your role at EGC?
The most rewarding part of my role is delivering results for our clients and positively impacting their business. At the end of the day, that is the most important part of our job. A happy client = a happy me !
