EGC’s Jamie Erhardt Talks QR Codes with Newsday
Jamie Erhardt, who was recently promoted to the position of Group Account Director at EGC, was among those interviewed in a Newsday feature about QR codes and safety.
The article explains that while QR codes are fast and convenient—and became a popular option for making touchless transactions during the pandemic—the chances of being targeted by cybercriminals have also risen.
Jamie points out that QR codes, in addition to convenience, may also offer more information about a brand or business (such as safety protocols). Her advice for brands and businesses that wish to implement this technology in their ads is to partner with a reputable QR code provider, as well as to randomly test these codes.
