Yes, the employee roster at EGC keeps growing. This month, we introduce new faces and a “boomerang” employee—someone who began at EGC, then left to work elsewhere, but returned.

KayCee Baumgarten – Executive Assistant to the President & CEO
KayCee Baumgarten joins the company as an Executive Assistant to EGC President Nicole Penn and CEO Ernie Canadeo, with over 12 years of experience in supporting C-level management. Throughout KayCee’s career, her focus has consistently been geared toward ensuring both employee satisfaction and client relations’ excellence. She looks forward to partnering with the EGC team to help provide companywide organization, support and streamlining for efforts involving administrative, operations, and human resources-related functions.
KayCee, who resides in Commack with husband, Dave, and son, Jaxson, prides herself on having a positive attitude and being a team player. Her willingness to learn and grow is complemented by practicing a strong and honest work ethic.
Margo Romero – Social Media Manager
Margo Romero, who lives in Melville, graduated from Farmingdale State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Programming and Information Systems.
In her early career, she worked at Newsday as a programmer analyst, where she developed internal web applications and software for several departments within that organization. At one point, Margo started offering freelance services that included web design, content creation, and social media management to small e-commerce businesses.
She was eventually offered a full-time position as a social media manager for a brand new digital marketing company, SMS Nutra (Supplement Media Studios), which offers digital marketing services for vitamin, supplement, and nutraceutical brands. It was in this position when Margo fell in love with social media and the creativity and analytics that go with it.
With this passion and dedication, Margo decided to go full force with social media and she is excited to learn more and build her experience and skillset at EGC.
…and “welcome back” to a “boomerang” employee…
Erin Lagano – Associate Creative Director
Erin Lagano, from Massapequa, NY, has been hired as Associate Creative Director. Erin was originally hired by EGC Group in 2009 as a graphic designer, and she worked her way up to becoming an art director.
In 2019, Erin left EGC to pursue an art director position at another agency. She worked closely with the paid social and paid search teams, along with a wide array of clients, gaining a better understanding of performance creative.
While this experience was valuable, Erin found that she missed the kind of work she had created at EGC. With her recent comeback, Erin is an example of the many “boomerang” employees who have left and returned to the Agency.
“I came back to EGC to get back to doing what I love,” said Erin. “On my second tour of EGC, I’ll be conceptualizing creative campaigns. I love coming up with creative concepts and having hands-on experience with design and video production and seeing my ideas come to life!”
