Built in 1906 by British designer George A. Crawley and American architect Grosvenor Atterbury, the Westbury House occupies 200 acres of the Phipps Estate. This entire project was founded on a promise by John Shaffer Phipps to his fiancé, Margarita Grace, in that he would build her a home that resembled the British manor where she grew up.
Last year, Old Westbury Gardens hosted a holiday-themed event, “Shimmering Solstice,” and EGC promoted these festivities through an integrated marketing campaign which included media communications and public relations.
