Craft Beer Marketing Awards Covered in Media Post
Founded by EGC, the Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CBMAS) was the focus of a recent article in Media Post.
Fittingly titled “How Do You Market A Craft Beer?”, Jackie DiBella-Curry and Jim McCune, co-founders of the CBMAS, discussed everything from the foundation to the history of this unique awards presentation. The purpose of the CBMAS is to recognize the creative and marketing efforts of those professionals who promote and increase visibility of a variety of craft beverages—an idea that was once considered unimportant if not frowned upon.
Now in its fifth year, the CBMAS (aka “The Crushies”) Marketing and Design Competition has undergone challenges and changes like no other awards ceremony. From managing through the COVID-19 pandemic (where the event was live-streamed) to the incorporation of digital marketing and social media, among other innovations—these awards and the marketing of craft beverage—has flourished.
